We had a relaxing day on the last day in Oman. In the morning, we went back to the Intercontinental Hotel for a swim. Lunch was back at the cafe we went to on day one. Then a short walk, and back to the pool. By now my swimming was getting a lot better, but I'm still pretty feeble in the water!

We got a lift back from Tomie but Peter had already left for work, so Taeko rang to say goodbye. We packed, Tomie took us to the crowded airport. Taeko's plane took off about 10pm for her two-day journey back to Nagoya, and two hours later my flight left for London.

A big thank you goes to Peter and Tomie for letting me stay, to all the friendly and helpful people in Oman, to the camel for not spitting at me, to the turtle for turning up just as I was about to give up with the snorkel, to British Airways for getting me there and back, but mostly to Taeko for inviting me to Oman and arranging all the fun things to do!
